Apply for Medi-Cal

The Medi-Cal program pays for health care for certain needy residents of California, including public assistance recipients. Medi-Cal is supported by federal and state taxes. Medi-Cal is no cost or low cost health insurance for California residents with limited income and resources. Medi-Cal can pay for the expenses of pre-natal, dental, vision, and nursing home care as well as physical therapy, pharmacy services, emergency medical transportation and other medical expenses.

Arrowcare is the County of San Bernardino's Low Income Health Program (LIHP) and is authorized under the federal Affordable Care Act.  Arrowcare provides comprehensive medical services for low-income County citizens and legal permanent residents who are not eligible for Medi-Cal.  You must complete a Medi-Cal application and eligibility determination in order to be evaluated for Arrowcare.
