It is our pleasure to invite you to nominate an individual or organization for the Children’s Network 2013 Shine-a-Light on Child Abuse Prevention Awards Breakfast. These awards, now in their 15th year, are presented annually by Children’s Network of San Bernardino County to chosen recipients for their unheralded and exceptional service to at-risk children and youth.
We depend on leaders such as you to identify the outstanding work being done in your community on behalf of children and youth. The work can be of almost any kind, from health and welfare to education and recreation. The Children’s Network seeks to identify not the one-time hero, but the individual or organization that has made a commitment to the well-being, growth and development of children and youth. Whether it is the person’s paid job or as a volunteer, we are looking for someone who goes the extra mile for children while selflessly giving in order to make a difference.
All nominations will be reviewed and selections will be made by a committee of the exceptional individuals who received this recognition last year. Awardees will be recognized at the Children’s Network 15th Annual “Shine-a-Light” on Child Abuse Prevention Awards Breakfast, to be held at 7:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 28, 2013, at the National Orange Show in San Bernardino, CA.
